This piece was one of five or six reproduction pieces that I made while I worked restoring antique furniture. I was comissioned to make this piece to match a bedroom set that I had refinished for a client. The curved front style mimics the shape of the dresser from the bedroom set, and the carvings are directly reproduced from the bed.

It was a lot of fun for me to go back and see some of the work that I had done several years ago and realize how much I still love the pieces.
