About This Project

I enjoyed designing this custom wine room table for a local client. For this piece, I wanted to create something structurally solid by combining a steel base and bent wood which was steamed and then curled to create visual intrigue.

Style: contemporary bentwood

Wood: locally harvested Siberian Elm

Techniques: steam-bent wood accents and custom patina on steel base
